We are a collective formed by two artists, María Isabel Vargas and Ana Carolina Torres, interested in painting. Since 2020 we have converged in the investigation of topics related to painting from the perspectives of history, theory and practice. In 2022 we formed this group with the aim of consolidating a field of research with which we seek to expand knowledge of the specific medium of painting in the local context. Our inquiries are based on the individual practice of each one of us and the ultimate goal is that the result of these investigations return to said practices. Similarly, we seek to contribute with theoretical production to the disciplinary field of painting within the arts in Colombia.
